So I've been using this espresso machine for about a year now. The short of it is that the Cafe Roma, and machines like it, can largely only produce faux espresso.
[Gear] Is the Breville Cafe Roma ESP8REF a decent entry-level machine? It heats up my milk pretty fast. The distance between where the espresso comes out only accomodates short espresso cups. However, as of late I've had to clean it more and more regularly. I was recently gifted a Cafe Roma ESP8XL, my first espresso machine btw, and noticing a lot of the parts are discontinued, with the portafilter being especially hard to source.
